Happy anniversary and a little surprise!

Dave and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on October 1st. It was pretty uneventful, just a quiet night at home with Hayden, but we enjoyed every minute of it. Our lives are about to pick up speed though. Just a few days later, we found out we're expecting baby #2! Hayden is telling everyone he is going to have a sister and we're naming her Katelyn. (I'm thinking he really doesn't understand this whole baby in the stomach thing... haha) But, I'm sure soon enough, he'll figure it out!

I have confirmed with a blood test, but we don't have my first appt til Nov. 4. I calculated my due date on Babycenter.com and came up with June 10th. But, I'm curious to see what Dr. Lamar says after the sonogram he does at the first appt. So, stay tuned! (-:

A very busy month....

We enjoyed the beautiful weather at the park.

Wore the fireman boots (from his halloween costume for this year) for about 2 weeks STRAIGHT! (-:
Played "hippos" with Mommy and Daddy ALOT.

Oh, and Mommy had a really nice time celebrating Jessica's 30th birthday in the Fort Worth Stockyards! (-:

Katelyn Grace Camp arrived at 2:48 pm, August 19, 2009, weighing 7 lbs, 15 oz and 20-1/2 inches long. She's got a head full of dark hair and is just a beautiful little baby! We're in love!

Jodi's friends at Cells-U-More threw her a luncheon baby shower last Friday. Toby got to join us. (He said it was the first shower he's ever attended. haha)But, it's been a while since we've all had a picture together, so I had to post!

Yvonne at the Basketcase did some baby belly casts of Jodi and then painted this one to match Katelyn's room. Too cute!
This one is also of Jodi's belly but they also included her arms. Creepy! hee hee J/K Jodi!

What have we been up to??

Wow! It's been a busy month! Since my last post, we've been going, going, going! June started out with a celebration of my 30th Birthday! I had a great weekend in Frisco with my girlfriends. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate! Thanks girls!

And now onto Hayden's activities.... (-:

We visited the OKC Zoo with our friends Kelby, Hunter and Reid.

Score: Wind - 1, Our Trampoline - 0. Hayden says the "big bad wolf" blew it over the fence!

We went to the Fort Worth Zoo with Camie and Carson.

Celebrated Cousin Katelyn's pending arrival with a wonderful baby shower

Hayden and I joined the kids from Mrs. Connie's in a night at the Red River Speedway. We had so much fun watching the cars race around the track!

Memorial Day Weekend

We started off the weekend with a bbq at our neighbor's house Friday night. I forgot to take my camera so I have no pics of that. We really enjoy spending time with our neighbors. Their little girl Emma is a week younger than Hayden and they always play so well together. I'm going to be so sad when they build their new house out in the country, but we'll have to make sure we still get together. Hayden loves his Emma. (-:

On Saturday morning, we got up early, picked up some donuts and Aunt Jodi and headed to PK. Uncle Brian's parents have a cabin there so it's always nice when they invite us down for the day. We had a great time, despite the on and off rain/lightning. What's up with rainy weather on a 3 day weekend?!?!?!? Here's some pics from our time at PK.

Hayden wasn't too sure about the boat and being out in the water at first. I think he forgot about all that swimming he did last summer. Can you believe next summer there will be a Baby Camp at the lake?!?!?

On Sunday, we went to a pool party at the Jones' house. Stephanie is the hostess with the mostess and we always have such a good time. Hayden warmed up to the water a little better than on Saturday and by the time we left, he was swimming from the shallow end to the ladder in the deep end. He's so funny when he swims b/c he says, "Swim, Swim, Swim" over and over. I think it keeps him focused... haha It's too bad Daddy is on his Florida golf trip with his Dad. He missed out on a fun weekend!
