Best friends

Sweet Phoebe.... Hayden just loves this dog.  He lays on her and he tackles her she takes it all.  She's such a good dog (well, except for her excitability when people come over.. haha)  Hayden was playing with her the other day and asked me to take their picture.  He said she is his best friend (-:

Missing those McKnight girls

Hayden sure does miss our old neighbors (and his Mommy does too)!  He's so excited when we get to meet up for a playdate.  This one took us to Jump for Joy and Hayden, Emma & Ella played and played and played while Tara and I got to catch up.  It was such a fun time!  I snapped a few pics before we left.  Love those sweet (and maybe a little crazy) McKnight girls!
Hayden & Emma (when did they get so big!?!?!?)

Silly faces

Not sure why Hayden is holding his tongue (haha) but what a cute picture of these 2!

Fun at Castaway Cove

We don't go to Castaway alot (mainly b/c it's expensive - Hayden has to pay for a Junior Admission now that he's over 42"!)  We usually go to the CC pool for free or the IP splash park b/c it's only $3 to get in.  But, Mommy caved a few times this summer and we went.  Hayden loves to ride the tube slides now that he's tall enough and float in the lazy river and Parker had a great time playing in the fountains.  Here's a few pics from one of our Castaway days.

Big Girl

Parker isn't a baby anymore!  She's into everything and really enjoys using Hayden's Pottery Barn chair.  She loves to climb on it (and usually tips it over backwards) as well as use it to reach things she shouldn't be touching.  haha  Here's a few pics of our big girl in brother's chair.

Carson

We just love Carson.  Camie and Jeff came in town before their trip to Colorado and needed to run some errands so Carson came over to play.  Hayden and Carson don't see each other nearly enough since Carson and his family live in Denton but they always have so much fun!

Busy 4th of July!

I love the Fourth of July - such a great holiday to spend with family and friends!
Hayden mastered the diving board at the CC pool

Sweet cousins enjoying cheetos at the CC pool

Hayden decked out his bike for Mrs. Connie's 4th of July parade

The big parade

Parker dressed in her red, white and blue too

The Jones family always throws a great 4th of July swim party - cute kiddos in their super soft lifejackets!

The 4th wouldn't be complete without snowcones at Mia & Jimmy's!

Mini-vacay with the Viavattenes!

At the end of June, we took a mini-vacation to Dallas with Dana, Joey and Reid!  We left Parker with my mom and they left Maren with Dana's mom.  Hayden and Reid were in heaven to be only-children again.. haha  We started off our day at the Dallas World Aquarium.  It was a lot of fun and nice to be indoors.
Hayden's favorite was the penguins... we even got to see them eat fish!

We were all amazed at how big the manatees were
We ended our day by taking the boys to a Rangers game.  David hooked us up with some great tickets on the 3rd base line.  Everyone was having a good time until the 3rd inning when the boys decided they were bored and wanted to go home... haha  But, they stuck it out with the help of peanuts, sugary drinks and souvenir 18-wheeler trucks from the gift kiosk.  (-:

The Viavattenes
Our mini-vacation was great until we woke up the next day at the hotel and walked downstairs to our vehicles.  Someone decided that my leather bag laying in the floor board was too tempting and smashed out my drivers side rear window.  Argh!  Luckily, I had taken my wallet and everything important out of it and up to the game with us, just didn't take the bag because it was too big to carry into the game.  It was a long hot ride back to Wichita Falls.  Luckily, we stopped in Denton and let Jeff tape and cardboard it up so it wasn't as bad as it could've been.  He did a ghetto-fabulous job!  Thank Jeff!  Thanks also to the Viavattenes for staying with us while we filed a police report and cleaned up the glass and to Yoshi at Patterson's for getting my glass fixed so quickly.  I could've gone with out the break-in but we still had a great time!
