Rocking Chairs

My Aunt Danna Ruth paints each great niece and nephew a personalized rocking chair for their 1st birthday.  Parker really likes to sit in Hayden's so she was so excited to have her own for her birthday.  Her and Hayden love to sit in their chairs and watch cartoons.  I love these little rocking chairs (and these cute red-headed kids too!)

Parker turns ONE!

I cannot believe sweet Parker is one.  This year has flown by entirely too fast.  I think when it's your last baby, they should slow down a little bit!
We had a splash party in our backyard to celebrate her big day (complete with inflatable water slide, slip n slide and baby pools & water table for the little ones).  Hayden got to invite alot of his friends and Parker even had some of her friends there too!  Everyone had a great time and the weather couldn't have been more perfect (warm but not too hot).  Parker really enjoyed her smash cake and had it all over her face by the time she was done.  She's such a blessed little girl to be surrounded by so many people who love her.
Parker - what a sweet little girl you've turned into.  We're so lucky to be your parents.  Slow down though... we're not ready for you to grow up so quickly!

I just had to post this picture... love those little thighs!  Bathing beauty!

Mothers Day 2011

This picture was taken at Mrs. Connie's annual Mothers Day picnic.  She's so sweet to celebrate us Moms each year.

I just love this picture.  How lucky am I to have such great kiddos!

Dam Run X (My 1st 5k!)

On May 7, I ran in my very 1st 5K race.  I've been running for a while now, but had never actually done a race.  Stephanie convinced us all to sign up and even talked us into buying matching Bondi Bands for our heads.  (-:

Unfortunately, Stephanie cut her foot open the week of the race so she couldn't run with us.  However, it was VERY nice to have our own personal photographer at the race!  Thanks Steph!

I had a great time running with my girls!

Looking fierce after the race... haha

Just had to get a picture with my fellow t-ball moms!  Go Rangers!

Easter Sunday (actually Saturday night!)

Every year Colonial offers a Saturday night Easter service for its members so that they can accommodate all of the guests on campus on Easter Sunday.  We enjoy attending this service because we all go together and then over to Mom's for dinner and an egg hunt.  Hayden was pretty egg-hunted out (b/c we'd done three other hunts prior to Easter), so he decided to hide the eggs for the girls who live next door and let them hunt.  I was pretty proud of him b/c he came up with the idea on his own.  We're always talking about how it's nice to do things for other people so it makes me happy to see that he's actually listening!  haha  The girls told us (they're 10-12 years old) that they hadn't gotten to do a hunt this year so they were excited as well!  Here's a few pictures I took at Mom's of the kiddos in their Easter wear.
This is the only picture I got of Katelyn smiling... she wasn't feeling the family picture this year.  (-:

Jones' Annual Easter Egg Hunt

My friend Stephanie hosts an egg hunt each year for all the kiddos in the field behind her house and it's always so much fun!  Parker was napping during the festivities, so David stayed home with her and Hayden and I were off!  Hayden got lots of eggs and enjoyed the cupcakes that Stephanie had made for everyone.
Thanks Jones' Family for hosting every year!
