One more week...

It's official! We've been scheduled for Miss Parker's induction next Thurs, June 3 at 7:30am (which is also coincidentally my 31st birthday!) Crossing my fingers that not too many women go into labor Wed night so they'll have a bed ready for us Thursday morning. Alot of people have been asking me if I'm ok with sharing my birthday with my baby girl. At first I was kind of like, I guess, hadn't really thought of it. But the more I think about it, I think it's going to be pretty cool. (I'm definitely going to have a talk with her between now and then though that she better not be stubborn and keep me in labor til the 4th. That's just mean! haha)
So, here's a few pics of what we've been up to lately.
Hopefully the next time I blog, I'll be posting pics of our sweet baby girl.

A trip to the fire station with Miss Tara & Emma (let's just say both kids were more interested in running through the vacant field next door than looking at the cool fire trucks... oh well, maybe next year!)

Feeding the ducks at the MSU lake with Emma (we followed this up with lunch at the park - it was a great day!)

Our lives are about to change for the better...

The countdown is on! Miss Parker Alise Reed will be here in less than 40 days. Five weeks tomorrow to be exact! We are all very excited for her arrival. Hayden is even excited. He keeps telling everyone that "a Parker is going to come out of my belly and a Parker is going to come out of Mommy's belly." We are pretty sure he's going to be sad when no baby comes out of his belly, but maybe having a baby sister now and Mommy not being pregnant anymore will be a good consolation prize (-:
Our fabulous family photographer, Geri (gmphotosblog.com), took some maternity pics and our last "family of 3" pics. Here are some of my favorites....

What a good helper!

Hayden is such a good helper with Katelyn. He loves to feed her bottles and baby food. Katelyn isn't too sure about his methods, but I'm sure she's just glad to have someone else to take good care of her!

March

Mommy & Hayden went with our friends to see Disney on Ice. What a show!

Hayden got to spend a gift card left over from Christmas on his new house for the back porch. Thanks Papa Beason!!

We planted some new flowers in our pots in the front yard. Hayden got a gardening bag, gloves and rake from Grammy Reed for Easter so he was quite the helper with his new tools!

February

February was alot of fun. Hayden had a great time filling out Valentine Cards for his classmates at school and then getting to pass them out at his party. I remember last year at this time filling them out for him b/c he wasn't old enough to care, but fast forward to this year and he wanted to spend time decorating each one for each of his friends. It's amazing how much they change from 2 years old to 3 years old! We made a trip to the Frisco Stonebriar Mall to pick up baby sister's bedding and had to make a few trips around the carousel. Hayden carried quarters in his pocket for 2 days before our trip so he could pay for his ticket! Little did Mom and Dad know it costs like $2.00 per ride! But, Hayden was a trooper while we shopped (and so was Daddy), so they both got to ride the carousel a few times! Hayden helped Aunt JoJo blow out the candles on her 28th birthday cake!
We enjoyed the beautiful weather riding our bikes with friends at the Barwise track. I couldn't believe how many times Hayden and his friends rode around and around without tiring. The mommies enjoyed sitting in the stands visiting and watching the racers!
Ready, set, go!
