Huntin' for Easter Eggs!

We had our annual Junior League Easter Egg Hunt last Sunday. It was sooooo cold! But, Hayden filled his bucket and even got a quick hug from the Easter Bunny.
(He's not too sure about oversized animals... haha)Hayden gave the Easter Bunny a hug.....

And then QUICKLY ran away! haha

Yes, he is carrying a Dora bucket... and yes, it's pink & purple. (-:
(He would NOT leave Target without it!)

Lots of eggs!
Happy Easter Everyone!!!

Attic Affair

Two weekends ago, the Jr League of Wichita Falls held their annual Attic Affair. Attic Affair is the fundraiser for our headquarters here in WF. It's the only fundraiser we do that actually goes to the League to pay for our meeting place, utilities, etc. All other fundraisers (Christmas Magic, Falls Fest, etc) - 100% of the money goes back into the community. We all work shifts at Attic Affair, either pricing donated items or running the sale. You couldn't even imagine some of the things people donate, so we always have a good time taking pictures. haha Enjoy!

Dr, Suess's Birthday

My neighbor, Tara, and I thought it would be fun to take Hayden and Emma to the WF Library to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday. We got in line at 1:15 and finally made it home by 3:30. We could've been out of there in an hour if there had been more than ONLY ONE PERSON handing out the free books! Note to library people: I'm not coming back next year unless you have more volunteers! haha
Emma trying on wacky hats.

The kids coloring zoo pictures.

Most of the kids "hopped on Pop". Ours laid on the floor. haha

Emma really enjoyed her cake! (Hayden only ate the icing on his... haha)

I think the kids had a good time, but it was so hot in there and super crowded b/c the book line snaked throughout the entire room! So, we did the best we could with cranky toddlers, navigating our way through the different activity stations, had a piece of cake and then finally got our books and balloons and headed out the door.

Ducks, ducks, and....

MORE DUCKS!

Hunter and Kelby joined us in feeding the ducks this time!

This one was mean! haha

The kiddos ate more of the bread than the ducks did!

What's more fun than ducks?? Sticks! (-:

Cute cousins

We enjoyed the nice weather by taking a trip to the park. My cousin Laura and her son Garrett went with us. These boys are only 2-1/2 months apart and it's been so much fun watching them grow up together. Laura's due in May with a little girl (and we're all secretly hoping Jodi has a little girl in August so they can each have a playmate too!)

I've had a change at my job recently and now I work only 4 days a week. Which means more time with Hayden - I'm so excited! Today was my first Monday off so Hayden and I decided to go to MSU and feed the ducks.

He hugged the loaf of bread the entire way there. haha
There were so many ducks out today. They were all quacking and fighting over the bread and Hayden thought that was hilarious! What a happy boy feeding the ducks!
