Jackson's Birthday & City Lights Parade

We celebrated Jackson's 3rd birthday with him at Chuck E Cheese. Hayden doesn't much care for the dancing mouse or the rides. He was really only interested in the pizza, cake and skee-ball. (And by skee-ball, I mean chunking the balls as hard as he could up the lane - we didn't hit many of the holes. haha!)Jackson had to get a lift to blow out all of his candles. (-:

After Jackson's party, we headed downtown to the annual City Lights parade. The weather was nice (not too cold!) and the kids really enjoyed the parade. I think Hayden liked everything except the police sirens. Every time the motorcycle cop would hit his siren, Hayden would jump out of his skin! The downtown merchants do a great job with the parade and we'll definitely go back next year! This is the best group shot of the kids I could get.

Growing up too fast!

I found these pics and can't believe Hayden's almost 2! It just seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. He's growing up way too fast!

Cousins

I just had to share this picture - it cracks me up everytime I look at it! This is Hayden and my cousin Laura's son, Garrett. We get together to play every chance we can. Garrett is 10 weeks older than Hayden and they always have a great time together!

We asked them to lean in together to take a picture and this is what we got! It looks like they're on a roller coaster or something... haha

Happy Halloween

Hayden had such a great time this year! He had a party at school on Friday afternoon and then we went to a carnival on Friday night. It's amazing what a difference one year makes. Last year, he wasn't even walking, and this year he's running all over the place with his sword! Enjoy the pictures of our little pirate!

Painting Pumpkins

Hayden had so much fun painting pumpkins last week. He got paint everywhere!! After we painted them, we added their faces and then delivered them to his grandparents. They were so surprised!

Happy Halloween everyone!
